{"id":1719,"date":"2021-09-10T01:23:22","date_gmt":"2021-09-10T01:23:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/grupobisa.com.mx\/?p=1719"},"modified":"2021-09-10T01:23:25","modified_gmt":"2021-09-10T01:23:25","slug":"cma-cgm-detiene-el-incremento-a-las-tarifas-maritimas-de-fletes-spot","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/bfc.mx\/en\/cma-cgm-detiene-el-incremento-a-las-tarifas-maritimas-de-fletes-spot\/","title":{"rendered":"CMA CGM Stops Increase in Ocean Freight Rates for Spot freight"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>This action will be applicated from Thursday, September 09th, 2021 and will be current to February 1st, 2022.<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/grupobisa.com.mx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/CMA-09-SEPT-21.jpg\" alt=\"CMA CMG Detiene incremento a tarifas mar\u00edtimas \" class=\"wp-image-1720\" width=\"840\" height=\"457\" srcset=\"\" sizes=\"(max-width: 840px) 100vw, 840px\" data-srcset=\"\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>It\u2019s a reality that since the biggening of this 2021, the maritime rates of spot freight in the maritime transport of containers have been in\na constant increase month after month. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em><strong>In the last 12 months, this increase represents an upswing of the 443%<\/strong><\/em>where the rates have been shot from 2.251 dollars\/TEU on\nSeptember 2020 to the actuals 9.987 dollars\/TEU.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The pandemic for COVID-19 brought as a consequence a dramatic suspension of the economic activity during several months. At the beginning of the reactivation of the global economy it generates a notable imbalance between the demand and the effective capacity of the sea transportation provoking an historic congestion in the principal ports of international charge. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The prognostic tells us that maritime rates will continue to trend upwards over the coming months, which is why the French shipping\ngroup has decided\u00a0<em><strong>to suspend any additional increase in spot<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0for all services operated under its brands (CMA CGM, CNC, Containerships, Mercosur, ANL, APL), in order to prioritize its long-term relationship with customers in the face of an unprecedented situation in the shipping industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This Group has also increased the capacity of its operated fleet by 11% since December 31th, 2019, through the incorporation of new\nvessels and the purchase of second-hand vessels.<br>Additionally, over the course of the last 15 months, it has also grown its fleet of 20-foot containers to 780,000 units. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" src=\"https:\/\/grupobisa.com.mx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/CMA-4-09-SEPT-21.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1721\" srcset=\"\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" data-srcset=\"\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Grupo BISA \u2013 Sales Team <\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-post-date\"><time datetime=\"2021-09-10T01:23:22+00:00\">September 10, 2021<\/time><\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Dicha acci\u00f3n ser\u00e1 aplicable a partir de este jueves 09 de septiembre de 2021 y se mantendr\u00e1 vigente hasta el 01 de febrero de 2022.
